Actor Vivek Oberoi said in an interview that he had clearly told the producer of the film ‘Ramayana’, Namit Malhotra, that he would not take a single penny as remuneration for this film.’ Vivek said that he will donate his entire remuneration to help children suffering from cancer.

Vivek Oberoi said, “I told Namitji that I love this project and I want to fully support him. I think this film will take Indian cinema to the global stage. Just like Hollywood makes films on epics, Ramayan will be India‘s answer. This project is associated with a company that has won 7-8 Oscars so far and has done many excellent works. In fact, nothing can be bigger and grander than Ramayan. It is very exciting to take this project to the global stage.”
The film ‘Ramayan’, to be directed by director Nitesh Tiwari, is going to be the grandest and most expensive project in Indian cinema. In this film, which is being made on a budget of Rs 4,000 crores, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Shriram, Sai Pallavi Sita, Yash Ravana, Sunny Deol Hanuman and Vikrant Massey Meghnad. The film will be released in two parts, the first part is likely to be released in Diwali 2026 and the second part in 2027.
