A case was filed in civil court against Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi
Two lawyers from Pune had filed a case in the civil court seeking a restraining order on the release of the film in the name of artistic freedom, in which the actors and producers of a Hindi film directly joked about lawyers and judges in vulgar language.
Taking serious note of this case, the court has ordered the producer, along with actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, to appear on August 28.

The plot of the film revolves around lawyers and courts. The film directly jokes about lawyers and judges in vulgar language. The actors in this film, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, have promoted the film by wearing lawyers’ bands (bows). Therefore, Adv. Wazed Khan (Bidkar) and Adv. Ganesh Mhaske have filed a petition in the court to prevent the release of this film. They object to the vulgar language jokes made about lawyers and judges.
