Zubeen Garg Wife Reaction: Assam Police is continuously taking strict action in the case of singer Zubeen Garg’s death. Earlier, his manager and event organizer were arrested and now another person has been arrested.
Zubeen’s cousin, DSP Sandipan Garg, has been detained. Sandipan is posted in Kamrup district in the Assam Police Service. Zubeen’s wife’s first reaction after his arrest has come to light.
Sandipan had never been abroad before
Garima Garg said that Sandipan had never been abroad before and he had expressed his desire to go to Singapore with Zubeen. According to Garima, “When Sandipan told him about going with Zubeen, Zubeen happily took him along.” Garima also said that she is aware of Sandipan’s arrest, but is not commenting on the investigation. She said, “Maybe there is some clue in Sandipan’s statement. The investigation is ongoing, so I cannot say anything about it.”
The singer died in Singapore on September 19
SIT chief and Special DGP of Assam Police M.P. Gupta said, “We have arrested Sandipan after questioning him. As the investigation is still ongoing, I cannot say anything more.” Singer Zubin Garg died on September 19 during a yacht party in Singapore. His cousin DSP Sandipan Garg was also present on the yacht at that time and had been questioned earlier. 52-year-old Zubin drowned while swimming. He was accompanied by some colleagues and friends. These people had gone into the water to swim during the yacht party.

Garima also spoke about Zubin and Sandipan’s relationship. She said that Zubin was proud of his cousin Sandipan, especially when Sandipan had recently joined the Assam Police Service. Sandipan had previously done modelling and acting. Garima said, “Sandipan had done 3-4 modelling projects with us. Zubin always encouraged him and loved him very much as a cousin.”
