She has saved the life of a one and a half month old puppy of a dog. She has rescued a puppy from Naigaon area. This puppy was repeatedly raped. She has demanded that this puppy should get justice. The person who tortured this puppy was arrested, but later got bail. Jaya has expressed her anger over this.
Jaya Bhattacharya spoke to Instant Bollywood with an injured puppy of a dog in her hand. This time she told about the atrocities committed on the puppy. “This one and a half month old puppy was raped in a chawl in Tiwari village of Naigaon. He was raped repeatedly. A complaint was filed in this case. The accused boy was arrested, but the police have released him. How will justice be done now? This is not just about this animal, but about all silent animals. So why shouldn’t it be someone’s 5-10 month old baby. “We are all witnessing such horrific incidents. Like these puppies, even small children cannot speak. They all should get justice,” said Jaya Bhattacharya.
Jaya Bhattacharya has demanded that the puppy should get justice as soon as possible. After her video went viral, people are expressing anger over the matter. They are demanding that the person who tortured this mute animal should be punished severely. Many are praising Jaya Bhattacharya for rescuing the puppy.

After watching this video of Jaya Bhattacharya, Farhan Akhtar‘s wife Shibani Dandekar showed her readiness to help. Jaya replied and informed that the puppy is safe. She also said that he has become physically weak, so he is being taken care of. She is currently taking care of the puppy and is sharing updates about him on her Instagram account.
