Satish Shah has left behind an unparalleled legacy in Indian cinema and television. The ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ actor had a kidney transplant a few months ago to stay fit and take care of his wife, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s. Shah’s family and friends organized a prayer meeting on Monday to express their condolences. Shah’s wife Madhu, who looked very sad, was also present at the prayer meeting. On this occasion, Sonu Nigam paid tribute to Satish Shah by singing his favorite song. He made everyone emotional by singing the song ‘Tere Mere Sapne…’ from the movie ‘Guide’. Satish’s wife was also seen humming this song and later paid tribute to her husband with Sonu Nigam. The video of this moment was shared by producer JD Majethia on his Instagram. He wrote in the caption – ‘The purpose of Satish Shah’s prayer meeting was to give him a true tribute from his family and friends. Keeping in mind his preferences, his favorite songs were sung instead of bhajans. The purpose of this song was also to convey the last words of Madhu Bahini. Condolences on the demise of Satish Shah
Condolencing the demise of Satish Shah, JD said, ‘This is a great loss. I had just spoken to him. He was completely fine, but I couldn’t meet him because he was very tired and wanted to sleep, he said.’ Shah’s manager Ramesh Kadatala said, ‘It was lunch time, around 2 pm. He was eating and after taking a bite, he fell unconscious. He was taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.’ Shah was last seen in ZEE5‘s web series ‘United Kachche’ opposite Sunil Grover. In it, he played the role of Jogu Chimanlal Pate.
