Director Priyadarshan has informed that actor Akshay Kumar is currently going through a serious state of depression. This has come as a big shock to Akshay Kumar’s fans. Akshay Kumar is currently shooting three films with Priyadarshan.
Priyadarshan has made this shocking revelation in an interview given to News 18. He said that after Asrani‘s death, Akshay Kumar called Priyadarshan twice. Akshay said that he cannot accept that Asrani sir is no more in the world and he feels like he is depressed.
Akshay Kumar and Asrani have been working continuously for the last 40 to 45 days for the upcoming two new films ‘Bhoot Bangla’ and ‘Haiwan’ directed by Priyadarshan. On this set, Asrani sir always gave valuable advice to Akshay. Especially to Rajpal Yadav and other actors, he used to tell them how to avoid mistakes in life. Priyadarshan has revealed that Asrani’s sudden demise has been a very personal and emotional shock for Akshay.
Talking about Asrani’s health on the set, Priyadarshan said, “He had a lot of back problems due to his age. We had kept a chair for him on the set. We would ask him to get up only when the camera was on. Even though his legs were hurting due to the bad road while returning from Indore, he did not stop coming to the set to complete the work of the film. Priyadarshan is also shocked by this incident, but he considers himself lucky as Asrani’s last scene was shot five-six days ago.
