Dhanush On Ranjhana Ai Climax: South superstar Dhanush made a strong debut in Hindi cinema with the film ‘Raanjhana’ in 2013. His chemistry with actress Sonam Kapoor was liked by the audience and the film became a big hit. The songs and the acting of the actors were all liked by the audience. Even today, ‘Raanjhana’ is considered one of the ‘cult’ films of Bollywood. Recently, the film ‘Raanjhana’ has been released with a new climax with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Kundan’s death was shown at the end of the film ‘Raanjhana’. But, now the climax is shown in which Kundan wakes up again instead of dying. The ending has been changed with the help of AI. However, Dhanush has expressed strong displeasure over the new climax of ‘Raanjhana’. He wrote on his social media, “I am very saddened to see the climax of Raanjhanaa being re-released with AI changes. This is not the film I worked so hard for 12 years ago. It feels like the soul of the film has been lost due to this new climax. It is even more painful that these changes were maintained even after I objected”.

He further said, “Using AI to interfere with the core theme, emotional flow or a scene of a film is destroying the soul of that work of art. This is clearly a threat to the legacy of the film. I expect strict laws to be made to control such things in future”.
Before Dhanush, ‘Raanjhanaa’ director Anand L. Rai had also expressed his displeasure over the new climax. Meanwhile, ‘Raanjhanaa’ was made on a budget of 36 crores and earned more than 60 crores at the domestic box office. While the film had collected around 90 crores worldwide.
