Prize Money for National Award Winners: The 71st National Film Awards are being held today, September 23, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
President Draupadi Murmu presented the National Film Awards to Shahrukh Khan, Vikrant Massey and Rani Mukherjee. Shahrukh Khan won the Best Actor award for the film ‘Jawan’, while Vikrant Massey won the Best Actor award for the film ’12th Fail’. Rani Mukherjee won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her film ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’. These awards are being given for films released in 2023. How much is the amount for Dadasaheb Phalke Award?
This year’s Dadasaheb Phalke Award is being given to Malayalam actor Mohanlal. Along with this prestigious award, the winner is given a Golden Lotus Medal, a shawl and Rs 15 lakh. Mohanlal was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award at the 71st National Film Awards 2023.
The 71st National Film Awards were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in a press conference on 1 August 2025. The jury members for this award include Mithun Chakraborty, Shankar Mahadevan and Ashutosh Gowariker. The winners were honored with these awards at Vigyan Bhavan today.
