Netflix, an OTT platform, has given information about this on its official social media platforms on Thursday. The film will be streamed across the country from 12.30 pm on September 19. The film tells the story of devotee Prahlad. Seeing his devotion, Lord Vishnu took the avatar of Narasimha to kill the cruel demon king Hiranyakashipu. According to a report by ‘Sakalnikal’, the film collected a whopping Rs 325.65 crore worldwide. While the film earned Rs 250.2 crore in India.
Regarding the overwhelming response received by the film, director Ashwin Kumar had said, “When a film crosses the Rs 100 crore mark in its first week, it is truly a different kind of joy. We did not even expect this much revenue. People of different religions and cultures live together in our country. Perhaps it is because of this diversity that this film has touched the hearts of the audience so much. We gave the audience a different and grand animation experience, which is very rare in the Indian film industry. Many people in India had the impression that animation films are only for children. But our film has changed this thinking.”
