Miss World 2023 Krystyna Pyszková Loves Hyderabad
Hyderabad, known for its blend of tradition and modernity, recently welcomed reigning Miss World 2023, Krystyna Pyszková. During her four-day visit, she explored the city’s rich culture, experienced its famous cuisine, and advocated for environmental conservation. As a firm believer in “Beauty with a Purpose,” Krystyna took the opportunity to highlight the importance of preserving green spaces, particularly in urban environments like Hyderabad.
Miss World 2023’s visit to Hyderabad coincided with International Forest Day, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of forests and green spaces. One of the city’s most iconic ecological landmarks, KBR Park, served as the perfect backdrop for Krystyna’s advocacy efforts.
Speaking about Hyderabad’s culture and environment, Krystyna expressed her admiration for the city, saying:
“The environment is the most important thing in the world. It is definitely a part of us. We need to treasure that.”
She further emphasized that in order to ensure a happy and sustainable future, humans must treat the planet with kindness and respect. To leave a lasting impact, she pledged to plant a tree in Hyderabad, symbolizing her commitment to nature conservation.
Hyderabad has witnessed rapid urbanization, but KBR Park remains an untouched sanctuary for flora and fauna. Spread over 142 hectares, the park is a testament to the city’s commitment to preserving its natural heritage.
As part of her advocacy for environmental conservation, Krystyna highlighted the significance of maintaining these green spaces. She noted that while discussions on climate change often revolve around numbers and policies, real change starts with simple actions like planting trees and protecting forests.
Krystyna’s visit was part of the pre-event promotions for the 72nd Miss World pageant, which will be hosted in Hyderabad for the first time in May 2024. Over the years, Miss World winners have used their platform to support various causes, and Krystyna is no exception. By focusing on sustainability and cultural appreciation, she brought international attention to Hyderabad’s rich heritage and environmental efforts.
Hyderabad is renowned for its diverse and flavorful cuisine, particularly during the holy month of Ramzan. Krystyna got a taste of this culinary heritage when she tried the city’s famous dish – Haleem.
“I tried Haleem. It’s really great! I have not had the opportunity to try a lot of items, but I am glad I could at least try Haleem,” she shared enthusiastically.
Her brief food adventure left her eager to explore more, and she promised to return in May to experience more of Hyderabad’s traditional dishes.
Krystyna Pyszková’s visit to Hyderabad was not just about pageantry—it was about making a difference. From raising awareness about environmental sustainability to appreciating the city’s culture and cuisine, she left a meaningful impact on Hyderabad and its people.
As she bids farewell to the city, her words continue to resonate:
“Hyderabad has a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to return.”
With the Miss World 2024 pageant set to take place in Hyderabad, the city will soon be in the global spotlight, showcasing its vibrant culture, heritage, and commitment to sustainability.
