Inspired by a landmark Supreme Court verdict, the film revisits one of the most controversial and important debates of the 1980s, which is as relevant today as it was: Should there be one nation, one law? Where should we draw the line between personal faith and secular law? Additionally, the recently released character posters of Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi offer a powerful first glimpse into the world of the film ‘Haq’.
The popular actress has faced many challenges while proving her mettle in over 100 films. Together, both the posters depict a world divided by faith but united in the quest for justice, which sets the tone for the story that follows.
Produced by Jangli Pictures, Insomniac Films and Baweja Studios, “Haqq” continues Jangli Pictures’ legacy of powerful, socially relevant cinema. The trailer is set to release on October 27 and the excitement for the film is growing. ‘Haqq’ is set to hit the theatres on November 7, 2025.
