71st National Film Awards, which are considered important in the entertainment industry, were announced on Friday, August 1. After a career of 33 years, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has won the Best Actor award for the movie Jawan.

The movie ‘Jawan’ was released on September 7, 2023. Shah Rukh played a double role in this movie. In this movie, he played two roles, namely army officer Vikram Rathod and his jailer son Azad. South director Atlee Kumar directed this movie. Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi also played roles in this movie.

After being awarded the best actor award for the film ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted and said, “I feel extremely grateful, proud and humbled to receive the National Award. This is a moment that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Heartfelt thanks to the jury, the chairman and the ministry. Who considered me worthy of this honor. He also thanked the director Atlee, the writer and the rest of the team of the film ‘Jawan’. He also thanked those who gave me a chance in ‘Jawan’ and believed in me.
Shah Rukh Khan has thanked everyone by sharing the video.
“Hello and Aadab, I thank everyone who thought I was worthy of the National Award. Thank you to my director, writer and especially Atlee for believing in me. This award has made me realize that acting is not just a job but a responsibility. I thank you all for your love. I also thank the Government of India for giving me this award. I dedicate this award to my fans. Get your popcorn ready, see you soon in the theatre,” Shahrukh said, thanking everyone.
In this video, Shahrukh Khan‘s hand is seen injured. This time, he mentioned his injury in the video, saying, “I wanted to spread my hand and show love as usual, but I am a little unwell right now. Don’t worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I will be back in the theatre soon,” he said.
