Bollywood fans have been buzzing about Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest song, Nasha, from the upcoming film Raid 2. With its electrifying beats and Tamannaah’s captivating performance, the song has quickly gained popularity. However, rumors began circulating that Raid 2 received a U/A certificate due to the inclusion of Nasha. The film’s producers have now stepped forward to set the record straight, emphasizing that the song is not a marketing tool and did not influence the film’s certification.
When Raid 2 was granted a U/A certificate, speculation arose that the sensual and high-energy dance number Nasha played a role in the decision. Some reports suggested that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had concerns about the song’s visuals, leading to the film’s classification. However, the producers have categorically denied these claims, stating that the certification was based on other factors.
In a recent interview, producer Bhushan Kumar clarified that Nasha was not responsible for the U/A certification. He explained that the film underwent minor edits, but none of them were related to Tamannaah’s song. Kumar stated, “It’s not because of the song. We had a few cuts in the film, and we committed to a few more—that’s why the certification was supposed to change. But it’s still a U/A certification, so there’s no problem at all.”
Producer Abhishek Pathak echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that Nasha was seamlessly integrated into the film’s narrative. He remarked, “Nasha was conceived a little later. We wanted a certain character to uplift another character, and we wanted that to come into the film in a particular way. It has been stitched very beautifully into the film.”
Bollywood films often include high-energy dance numbers to boost promotional efforts, but the producers of Raid 2 insist that Nasha is more than just a marketing strategy. Bhushan Kumar addressed this perception, stating, “People might feel that in a thriller like Raid 2, the songs would seem forced. But it’s not a marketing tool. It became a part of the story so well.”
Tamannaah Bhatia‘s presence in the song adds to the film’s appeal, but the producers stress that the track was carefully woven into the screenplay. The song serves a narrative purpose, enhancing the emotional depth of the film rather than being a standalone promotional gimmick.
Despite the producers’ clarifications, Nasha has undeniably generated excitement among fans. Tamannaah Bhatia has established herself as a powerhouse performer in Bollywood dance numbers, and her previous hits like Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 have set high expectations. While Nasha may not have influenced the film’s certification, it has certainly contributed to the anticipation surrounding Raid 2.
The controversy surrounding Raid 2‘s U/A certification and Tamannaah Bhatia‘s song Nasha has been put to rest by the film’s producers. They have made it clear that the song was not responsible for the certification and is not merely a marketing tool. Instead, Nasha is an integral part of the film’s storyline, adding depth and entertainment value. As Raid 2 gears up for its release, audiences can look forward to an engaging cinematic experience, complete with thrilling action and captivating performances.
