71st National Film Awards Winner Treesha Thosar Video: The 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held today (September 23) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Many luminaries were present at the ceremony.

This year, the 71st National Film Awards saw child artists from the Marathi film industry dominating the awards ceremony. The Silver Lotus Award for Best Child Artist was awarded to Kabir Khandare for the Marathi film ‘Gypsy’ and to Trisha Thosar, Srinivas Pokle and Bhargav Jagtap for ‘Naal 2’. Trisha is the youngest among them. Therefore, everyone present at the ceremony was very proud of this little girl.
Trisha Thosar reached the stage to accept her award wearing a beautiful off-white saree. At this time, she first greeted President Draupadi Murmu with folded hands and bowed. She also patted the child on the back with appreciation and Trisha was awarded this year’s Best Child Artist award.
